To satisfy the widest possible range of on-vehicle and industrial fuel or water tanks, the sensor is offered with three distinct electrical interfaces:
• Resistive output – a rugged thick-film potentiometric divider (common 0–190 Ω, 240–33 Ω or user-defined) that plugs straight into legacy dash gauges, hour meters or PLCs.
• Voltage output – 0.5–4.5 V ratiometric or 0–10 V factory-scaled signal, immune to lead resistance and ready for modern ECUs or remote I/O modules.
• Current output – 4–20 mA two-wire loop, intrinsically safe, capable of driving signals over several hundred metres without loss of accuracy.
We have developed four complementary mounting families so the sensor can follow the tank, instead of forcing the tank to follow the sensor:
